Workshops & Events Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

Consent Craft workshops and events are offered in small-group settings and require advance planning, venue bookings, and facilitator support. This policy is designed to be clear and fair, while supporting the sustainability of this work.

This policy applies to in-person and online workshops and events, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

Where a specific workshop or event has additional or different cancellation terms, those terms will be outlined on the booking page or in confirmation emails and will take precedence.

Cancellations & Refunds

Because workshops and events have limited places, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellations more than 14 days before the event - A full refund is available.

  • Cancellations 7–14 days before the event - A 50% refund is available.

  • Cancellations less than 7 days before the event - Refunds are not available.

  • Non-attendance on the day - Refunds are not available.

  • Facilitator cancellation - If an event is cancelled by the facilitator, you will be offered a full refund.

Ticket Transfers

You may transfer your ticket to another person with prior notice. Please provide the new participant’s:

  • full name

  • email address

  • emergency contact details

Transfers must be arranged before the event.

Illness & Unexpected Circumstances

If you are unwell, please let us know as soon as possible. Where feasible, we may offer:

  • a credit to be used toward a future Consent Craft workshop or event, or

  • a ticket transfer to another person

Credits are offered at the discretion of Consent Craft and are intended to support care and wellbeing while acknowledging the practical limits of small-group events.

Exceptional Circumstances

If exceptional circumstances arise, you are welcome to get in touch. While refunds outside this policy cannot be guaranteed, requests will be considered with care where possible.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a refund or remedy where a service:

  • is not delivered as described

  • is not fit for purpose

  • is cancelled by the provider
